Senior Media Planner/Buyer

Reports To: Media Director

Position Summary: The Senior Media Planner/Buyer is responsible for the planning of all media for assigned clients and new business, in addition to research, development, and presentation of media plans and media buying.


  • Media planning and negotiation/buying
  • Identify and evaluate new media opportunities
  • Daily and weekly media estimates and reporting. Final evaluation of updated post log reports for assigned programs.
  • Results analysis, media optimization and impact projection.
  • Maintain strong station sales and vendor relationships
  • Interfacing with client and internal teams
  • Identifying and resolving problems
  • Analyzing and tracking program results on a daily/weekly basis
  • Manage multiple campaigns
  • Manage, train and mentor assigned team
  • Researches, develops, and plans media for assigned clients
  • Gathers, organizes and presents competitive research and spending data
  • Approving affidavits and reconciling discrepancies
  • Mastery of the Core media tracking system from a front end and back end client results standpoint.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 4-6 years TV media buying experience required, DRTV preferred.
  • Strong math/analytical skills
  • Proven ability to multi-task on various accounts
  • Strong ability to shift priorities quickly in a deadline drive environment

New Business Development

Position Summary: Bluewater Media is growing direct response advertising agency building a New Business Development team. This team will be responsible for prospecting and developing new business opportunities, negotiating/closing business deals and maintaining extensive knowledge of current market conditions.
As a senior sales professional, it is their job to work with the internal team to increase sales opportunities and thereby maximize revenue for Bluewater Media. In addition, it is important to help manage the relationship with the clients they bring in to ensure they stay satisfied and positive about the services and deliverables provided by our Team.

They should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven record in generating significant revenues.


  • Generate leads/cold calling to ensure a robust new business pipeline
  • Efficiently maintain regular contact with existing prospects
  • Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization
  • Set up meetings between client decision makers and company’s leaders/Principals
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with your clients
  • Cross sell additional Bluewater services to your clients
  • Independently plan and implement initial services and capabilities pitches
  • Work with the internal team to develop proposals that address the client’s challenges, needs and objectives
  • Close new business and met sales goals in first 12-15 months of employment
  • Forecast sales targets and ensure they are met by you and the team. Create weekly/monthly status reports to business leaders/Principals to track progress against sales revenue goals
  • Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators
  • Identify industry categories to prospect. Assist in developing marketing materials required
  • Attend industry events and conferences. Set meetings with decisions makers ahead of time.  Be prepared

Job Requirements:

  • 5-10 years advertising agency and/or sales experience. Direct Response preferred.
  • 2-3 years TV Media and Creative sales experience
  • Must have existing business contacts and relationships

eCommerce Account Manager

The Account Manager will deliver a first-rate client experience through the day-to-day management of client relationships, client communication, and client concerns. You will oversee multiple marketplace accounts, anticipate and manage the resolution of operational issue, and assist clients in bolstering and improving their online marketplace presence. Your ultimate charge is to create and maintain lasting client relationships that will continually grow our business. A talented Account Manager can manage a client portfolio without losing sight of the customer.

Other Account Management Functions:

  • Liaising with internal departments to ensure that any client related tasks are dealt with in a timely and efficient manner
  • Establishes knowledge of client business challenges and priorities, and understands the competitive landscape in the marketplace
  • Schedules weekly client meetings to review strategic goals and KPI’s, drive new marketing initiatives and identify additional channel opportunities
  • Analyze client’s weekly/monthly sales and revenue reports, confidently interpreting trends and offering strategic recommendations for growth
  • Will work closely at times with the marketplace specialists to organize and/or take part in client discovery sessions, product onboarding, content creation, and promotional campaigns in conjunction with web and social media marketing efforts

  • Support launching additional 3rd party marketplace businesses; Help expand our current brand portfolio to additional marketplaces, domestically and internationally

The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • 2+ years of proven experience with a strong track record in an account management or project management role – preferably in an agency environment
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • Ability to take responsibility and function under limited supervision, yet comfortable requesting clarification and assistance when needed
  • Have a strong understanding of Paid Search tactics, SEO and Content Optimization
  • Preferred Experience — Creating and managing listings in various online/e-commerce marketplaces and/or experience working with multichannel e-commerce platforms like Channel Advisor

Videographer/Lighting Tech

Role Overview:
The ideal candidate will be a team player with a great attitude, and a hustling work ethic! Must have great camera and lighting experience. Knowledge of single and multi-camera productions. Must be fluent with with a variety of production equipment including cameras like: Sony FS7, Sony A7S, and Canon 5d or similar, strong lighting experience both in studios and field environments, production audio experience, and familiarity with assorted grip and rigging equipment.

Must have worked on infomercial, commercial, advertising, advertorial and/or marketing videos in some capacity.
